Future Saigon: District 5’s Dragon Riverside City

Vo Van Kiet is quickly becoming a favorite thoroughfare for Saigon developers with a number of large-scale projects planned for the road that runs from District 1 to the edge of the Mekong Delta.

The latest mega development for the riverside expressway is the 53-story Dragon Tower that will begin to rise sometime in the next 12 months.

According to REIC, once complete, the building will house a 5-star hotel, Grade A office space, serviced apartments, 1,200 residential apartments (dubbed ‘Dragon Residence), an international trade center and shopping mall. Plans call for at least two other apartment towers 38 stories tall.

Apartments are expected to go on sale in Q2 2016 at yet to be disclosed prices.

Formerly called the Saigon Energy Tower, the project is located on a 7,632 m2 plot at 628-630 Vo Van Kiet, Ward 1, District 5.
