From the organizer: Call for application: Dance and Music Summer Camp 2018 in Hanoi (July 14th - 29th, 2018)

AIM OF THE DANCE AND MUSIC SUMMER CAMP 2018
• Prepare a strong Vietnamese participation in the next dance festival 2019.
• Facilitate work conditions for Vietnamese choreographers/ who are interested to exchange with colleagues and present their ideas and concepts as choreographers for audiences in Vietnamese and beyond.
• The focus of this project is the cooperation between dance and music, choreographers/dancers and composers/musicians under conceptual aspects. 
• The summer camp is also a forum for choreographers to push their ideas for realization in their next production.
• One of the results of the camp is the building of teams who develop concepts for performances to be presented in the next dance festival 2019. The length can vary.

TARGET GROUP
• The summer camp 2018 gives 10 choreographers/dancers an opportunity to exchange, formulate and explore artistic ideas that should come to the stage in 2019. 
• Some professional dancers take jobs in Europe and would like to bring back their experiences and knowledge to Vietnam. The summer camp brings them together with choreographers and dancers who have stayed and continued to work in VN. 
• There is an equal number (10) of musicians/composers or representatives from other genres (for example visual arts) from VN who have shown experience in working with other artists and who are particularly interested in the topic of body and space. 
• Working language: English and Vietnamese.
