Sidewalk will officially be closing it doors for good on the 15th of September so join us in sending off one of the best bars to grace our community with one last big bang.

~~After 3 years at what now is 'Hello Kitty World' and almost 2 in the new location we have witnessed the growth and progress of Hanoi's night life scene and the support and love from the incredible artistic community bringing to us the most unique events like drag shows, live music and DJs, Laughing Buddha Comedy Events, Hanoi Philosophy Forum, and even the Batman musical! The Irish St Patricks, the Hanoing Jazz Band are just unforgettable memories.

All of the supporters have brought a life time of experience, talents, and skills to showcase at Sidewalk! Huge thanks to the crowd especially cos without the birthdays, farewells and social get togethers we wouldnt have lasted that long! We loved watching everyone have a great time, making new friends and bringing and meeting the love of their lives!

We will be having a farewell weekend beginning on Friday the 13th with a bunch of the best Djs in town playing their best funk and disco tunes followed on Saturday by some of the best bands in Hanoi! Of course free entry and the classic free beer from 8-9.

-NAM BAMS-
From two different continents but with the same musical roots, the Nam Bams is a band created by Emma Burke and Gustavo Gomez in June 2019. It is an acoustic project that takes old school groove and mixes it with a new vision and a powerful sound.

Emma is a singer from Ireland with more than 10 years of experience with influences such as Etta James, James Brown, Ella Fitzgerald, Muddy Waters and many more. On the other side, Gus is a guitar player from Chile with 14 of experience 4 as a professional with influences such as Jimmy hendrix, Carlos Santana , Buena vista social club, Al dimeola. This mixture of sound is the thing that gave birth to this bluesy, jazz, soul sound that characterizes the band.




-SHADYLANES-
Hailing from SA, AUS and NZ, Southern Hemisphere’s Shadylanes draw on influences from their home countries, creating a stylistically-eclectic, beachy sound that spans genres of rock, pop, reggae and funk.

Rowan, Nache, Dan, Justin and Gabe have recently put down roots in Hanoi’s concrete jungle, and the cheeky five-some is now bringing a unique energy to the city’s diverse music scene. Join them for a sensory experience that’ll get you on your feet and out the gate!
