Music-lovers and gypsies, bohemians and carousers, welcome aboard the train from Istanbul to Islamabad. Selectas Manuel Orkestar and Janko will blow the dust off some rare musical treats amid the cozy boho chic carriage that is Ma Xo.

Last month, we took the Orient Express from London to Istanbul—after visiting the Saint-Sophia mosque and eating all the baklavas—we could reembark at Istanbul for a trip through Central Asia to Islamabad. We’ll cross Turkey, Iran and, with a twist, Kazakhstan, Ouzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

The train departs Ma Xo station at 8:30pm and will disembark at 10:30pm.
