Mid- Autumn Ikebana Workshop @ Art Space

Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement. It originally started as a zen practice, focusing on the season and beauty of each flower at the very moment.

The Sogetsu school of ikebana has brought contemporary and universal approach with the philosophy that "ikebana can be made by anyone, anywhere, at anytime". Focusing on artistic principles and composition, Sogetsu ikebana aims to have each arrangement represent one's unique characteristics and feelings.

Every flower has unique characteristics; human beings are the same way. This is what helps make ikebana exciting: No two arrangements are alike. Ikebana is an art that continually changes.
Art Space is presenting Mid-Autumn Sogetsu Ikebana workshop with Auralynn Nguyen. For this workshop, you will learn how to arrange an ikebana piece for Trung Thu (mid-autumn festival) using local and traditional materials with a modern approach, as well as basic principles of Ikebana.

The fee for this workshop is 700k/ person ( including a vase, flowers, and other materials.). To register for the workshop or for more information, please contact our hotline at 0902819105- Mr. Long
