Author's talk with Larry Berman @ The Old Compass Cafe

Author Larry Berman returns to The Old Compass to discuss his book about Pham Xuan An, the Communist spy who successfully penetrated Saigon's international press corps during the Vietnam War.

His 2008 biography, "Perfect Spy: The Incredible Double Life of Pham Xuan An, Time Magazine Reporter and Vietnamese Communist Agent" is an extraordinary Vietnam War story.

We are honoured to have Larry visiting again from the US. Tickets to Larry's previous talks sold out quickly. We expect another full house. Berman's biography was the product of years of research, more than 50 visits to Vietnam, and interviews with Pham Xuan An. Berman has authored many books about the Vietnam War. He is the Founding Dean of the Honors College at Georgia State University.
