GenderFunk presents: POP ART BALL at the Observatory!

Queer culture has been at the center of pop culture for decades, influencing and inspiring everyone from pop divas and princesses like Cher and Madonna, to artists and icons like Andy Warhol and Janelle Monae.

And now, thanks to mainstream shows like RuPaul’s Drag Race, queer culture is increasingly getting the visibility and the CREDIT it deserves for standing at the forefront of what makes pop culture so fabulous today.

We’re using this theme to celebrate all the artists who have used Pop Art as a way to express themselves and their sexuality, from George Michael to Lady Gaga.

To celebrate them and the fabulousness they bring to our lives, we're throwing a ball, GenderFunk style!!

As always you can look forward to 6 SICKENING performances, serving you Pop Art with a twist. We’ll have a FREE glitter station and the DJs will keep you dancing till 5 am and beyond…(beyond..beyond..)
