A Night of Vietnamese Classics – SPYO String Quartet plays familiar tunes by Trinh Cong Son, Thanh Tung, Duong Thu, Quoc Bao, Bao Chan, Anh Quan and Ngoc Le.

This summer, Soul Live Project Series: The Modern Classics proudly presents to you a chamber music concert called “Dấu Ấn”, featuring beautiful Vietnamese love songs by prestigious songwriters. At the concert, you will hear an emotionally-packed love story told in the language of music by the String Quartet from Saigon Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (SPYO). Brand new arrangements of Vietnamese classics by young and talented music arranger – Nguyen Do Anh Tuan will be introduced, and in particular, he will bring to the stage his own composition, the String Quartet No.1 for the very first time in Vietnam.

When the very first note of “Dấu Ấn” is played, a nostalgic yet modern musical space of love, philosophy and life will open up. The time-defying Vietnamese musical gems presented with the youth and passion of 4 young musicians from SPYO will surely bring you a sentimental Saturday night, and leave many unforgettable “dấu ấn” in your heart!
