In this presentation, we will talk about the international animal rights organisation - The Save Movement, and the idea of bearing witness.

The Save Movement is one of the biggest animal rights organisations in the world, using a peaceful, love-based approach to help people become vegan. Save groups around the world bear witness to animals outside slaughterhouses, to raise awareness about the plight of animals and promote a non-violent vegan lifestyle. We are currently a worldwide network of over 600 groups around the world, who regularly hold vigils in front of slaughterhouses, giving love and compassion to animals in their final moments, while sharing their images on social media, to help the public make the connection.

PART 2: Workshop on Animal Rights Activism

This workshop aims to discuss all the different forms of animal rights activism, their purpose, and how they are effective. Every vegan and activist can find a form of activism that is suitable for them, their personality and their lifestyle!
We will see how different approaches to activism can compliment each other and help us advocate for animal rights effectively, and grow stronger as a united movement.
