3X4 is excited to introduce the second edition of “The New
Photographers” in another upcoming exhibition opening October 3,2019 at Noir Gallery, Thao Dien.

The second edition will feature the individual works of five
Saigon-based photographers: Patrick Carpenter provides a
photojournalistic commentary, Brice Godard re-defines abstract architecture, Hoang Nam Viet considers photography as fine art, and Oliver di Costanzo captures Beauty in Chaos using double exposure, and Tobias Ahlbrecht shares with us a photographic documentary.

‘The New Photographers’ exhibitions are the culmination of the 3X4 Mentorship Programme launched by Pham Tuan Ngoc and Lilly Wong Saigon last June to support and promote Vietnamese and international artists through the medium and language of photography.

Ngoc and Lilly devised this programme to make it possible for keen photographers to exhibit their artwork and to learn the ins-and-outs of producing a final exhibition from start to finish. These philosophies - breaking down the barriers to entry for creatives, giving guidance, and, above all else, encouraging growth through experience are central to the mission of 3X4: The New Photographers.
