Saigon Talks: Spatial sensitivity & contemporary design @ TOONG coworking space

In urban landscapes of dense & complex co-habitation, designers today have a unique responsibility to create spaces that are not only visually attractive and environmentally sustainable, but also allow for emotional comfort and personal connection.

Presenting two very different perspectives on contemporary design practice G8A welcomes architect Shunri Nishizawa, founder of NISHIZAWAARCHITECTS & Rachel Jahja, Associate Lecturer at RMIT University Vietnam.

Together we will discuss issues facing the contemporary architecture and interior industry and how designers can find opportunities to respond to these, bringing forth positive change to spatial experience.

SAIGON TALKS is an afternoon presentation & conversation event organised by G8A Architecture & Urban Planning where invited specialists offer their insights on topics that influence or are influenced by the practice of Architecture.
Similar in format to the HANOI TALKS events, this meeting creates a free space to question the status-quo & push the confines of what architecture & urban design is said to be.
