Ready to feel festive? The Christmas BISzaar 2019 is returning to Saigon on Saturday 7th December at the British International School Ho Chi Minh City.

The fun and festivities kick off at 9am and will run all morning until 1pm. As the last bazaar on the Thao Dien calendar before Christmas 2019 it’s the perfect opportunity to do some last-minute Christmas shopping.

In recent years, the BISzaar has attracted over 70 vendors and more than 1,500 visitors sampling great tasting seasonal fare, participating in fun activities, and enjoying Christmas music and carols provided by the school music department. And of course, what would Christmas be without Santa himself? He promises to pay a visit and who knows, he may just have a present or two.

As always, the ever-popular raffle and silent auction will be in full swing offering up some incredible prizes - hotel stays, restaurant, spa and shopping vouchers with all proceeds going towards the school’s community partners. Community Service is once again at the heart of the 2019 Christmas BISzaar, with its main aim to raise funds for charities and humanitarian projects in Vietnam.

Over the last few years, BIS HCMC has focused on taking action towards and raising awareness of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In line with the ongoing work across the whole school to encourage the community to Think Globally and Act Locally, the school have refined their philosophy for the 2019 BISzaar to ensure that they build on the community model and incorporate more of the Global Goals into this year’s event.

To that end, all vendors, donors and partners have been chosen based on their shared philosophy of working towards a brighter, more positive future through the product they create, the processes they use and/or the partnerships they include. You will see vendors selling creative, handmade, sustainable, unique or original items.

Entry to the BISzaar is free and no tickets are required. Simply turn up and enjoy the Christmas cheer!
