Originated in Hanoi more than two years ago, On point Worldwide Records has originally been ignited as a creative event series concentrating on showcasing the hidden gems of selectors throughout South East Asia.

Co-founder Naylas desire to start a record label with the same principles of explored music selection, has led to the launch of it through the first release in last spring with an EP from a close friend and extremely talented producer Romain FX, that has been followed by numerous releases from locally brewed and worldwide beats.

With ten beautiful event chapters that took us on a journey around the globe of musical adventures, sliding through shuffled swings of UK garage to the nu wave beats of the Thai queen of cats. With gritty 90’s house from the child of the jungle to mystic vibrations of utopia and an unforgettable collaboration with Hanoi’s mother of the darker and dirtier side to disco and Indie dance, the time has come to close this book and move to part two of an evolving new story…in a new city.

With our first series, we will be taking over The Lighthouse with a stirring pot of sounds brewed by locally known maestros Smudge, Manny, Robat and Rowe alongside fresh faces in town of Nayla and Klaytron, with a cherry on the top - Manikk, arts genius who drives the dance floor with his abstract sounds as well as he paints a canvas.

On Point always aims not to cling onto specific music genres throughout the night, but rather focuses on the diversity of sounds that in summary will bring you to a point of combined rhythms and grooves.
