ZULU's wordly selections have one thing in common: swollen funky bass lines: UK funky, afrobeat, kuduro, releasing music on Toddla T's 'Girls Music', to Buraka Som Sistemas 'Enchufada' imprint. An indispensable part of the Monki & Friends residency at Fabric in London, his selections often encompass a broad variety of wordily sonics, from Detroit, to Johannesburg via London.
While his production style fuses together the unpredictable rhythmic elements of his parents’ world music CD collection and the modern bass-heavy electronic dance music – an approach that is in full display on his afro-techno leaning ‘I.N.C.L.E.H. EP’ -, his DJ sets are usually an eclectic affair where you can hear anything from hip-hop classics to the latest uk funky bangers.

Alongside DSANE - the musical alias of modern artist Dmitry Teselkin - will be bringing the techno touch to the floor on this night.
Dsane’s DJ career began with Hardcore and Jungle music in 2001, and evolved to include Ambient, Trip-Hop, and House. It’s gradually moved to a decidedly Techno-focused sound that has seen him experimenting in production with analog instruments.
In 2012 he began a residency at the legendary Monasterio club Moscow, featuring on lineups alongside figures as Truncate, Ben Klock, Chris Liebing, Peter Van Hoesen and many more.
