From the organizer: AUSTRALIAN AUTHOR, SOPHIE PHAM, comes to Saigon!

As a second generation Vietnamese-Australian, she shares her story of aspiring to family hopes for education, wealth and freedom. Sophie completed her undergraduate in Biomedicine at Australia's top university, with plans to become a psychiatrist. However, emotional pressures took her down the path of prostitution...

Through her experience, she came to discover her true purpose and in her book, PAIN IS POTENTIAL, she shows how purpose can be found in our life stories.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Sophie Pham is an author, narrator, coach and entrepreneur. She halted an academic career in psychiatry to create a vision external to traditional structures. As founder of the social enterprise The Introvert Project, she is committed to sharing stories of purpose found within personal suffering. 

ABOUT THE VENUE:
Saigon Outcast is a creative space, alternative events venue, craft beer garden, and graffiti paradise. It supports artists, musicians, and other 'outcasts'.
