From the organizer: Vietnam's colonial architectural heritage is widely acknowledged. Less well understood is the country's rich modernist architectural heritage - driven mainly by local architects.

Join Mel Schenck as he presents southern Vietnam's modernist architecture, from grand public buildings, to suburban and rural homes - explaining its origins and creators.

Mel is an American architect whose roots in Vietnam date back to a stint in Saigon before 1975. He lives in Saigon again and is finishing a book about modernism in Vietnam.

Tickets 100,000VND can be purchased at The Old Compass Cafe prior to the event. Purchase at the door on the night (if available) for 120,000VND.
