[Photos] Sushi Chef Fuses Sneakers and Sushi to Create 'Shoe-Shi'

An artist and chef based in Italy has elevated the art of sushi to a new level by creating "shoe-shi."

VICE's Creators page shares the creativity of Yujia Hu, a sushi chef working in Milan. Hu, a sports fan and foodie, who combines his passions by using black seaweed nori and sashimi to craft miniature versions of famous sneakers, from Air Jordans to Supreme slides. 

The end results, called "shoe-shi," are a sight to behold - almost too perfect to be eaten. Check out some of Hu's delicate creations below, courtesy of VICE:
