Contrasting Past & Present

Old bridge. Photo by Khánh Hmoong

If you love old Vietnam photos as much as we do, you’ll get a kick out of these which contrast the present and past of some of Vietnam’s most famous sites.

Vietnamese photographer, Khánh Hmoong, recently posted a set of photos which overlay historical images on top of present ones, creating a wonderful juxtaposition. From the Imperial Citadel at Hue to Ben Thanh Market, Khánh brings an often missing sense of history to places we pass every day.

To see all the photos from this collection as well as Khánh’s other work, head over to his website.
