The latest study from the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) found that only 11 countries in the word are not involved in conflict of one kind or another. And one of them happens to be Vietnam.
The IEP’s Global Peace Index “The world's leading measure of national peacefulness,” measures peace according to 22 qualitative and quantitative indicators.
While the study doesn’t explicitly define what “conflict” means in their rankings, it’s likely that involves something a bit more serious than boat ramming so the country’s recent diplomatic spat with China isn’t counted.
So, sit back and enjoy a cà phê sữa with the knowledge that you live in one of the most peaceful countries in the world.
