BackStories » Vietnam » Film Screening 'To Saigon with Love' @ Le Cong Kieu Station

From the organizer: 'To Saigon with love' features two documentary films about Saigon from two directors of two different generations: Tran My Ha and Dinh Tran Viet Thuy. In the first film titled 'Hương sắc mùa xuân', the veteran director Tran My Ha depicts portraits of young Saigonese artists after Doi Moi in the 90s. Most of them became big names of the nation's art scene. With the second film - Yellow dreams, young director Viet Thuy shares her concerns about the city she lives in. Although these two films are in two different styles, made in two different periods by two different generations, they all derived from the strong love the directors gave to this land - Saigon.

Sao La would like to invite you to this documentary film screening.

** Following the screening will be Q&A with the directors.

** We hope to receive a donation of at least 20,000 VND from each participants for our future projects. Each donor will receive a free drink. Free drinking water will be provided for everyone.
