Google CEO Meets Vietnamese Startups in Hanoi Today

Today, 300 people will gather in Hanoi to meet Google CEO Sundar Pichai, the first time a senior executive from the company has visited Vietnam.

According to VnExpress, Pichai will meet with members of the Vietnamese startup and business communities to share his individual experience, both at Google and throughout his career.

Though the exact details of the meeting have yet to be released, Hung Dinh, one of the meeting's organizers, noted that Pichai is taking time out of a personal business trip to participate in the event, which will be capped at 300 people. Three of the 300 attendees will also be able to spend one-on-one time with Pichai, while Google has invited other participants to pose questions on social media, to which the company will respond.

Pichai was born in India in 1972 and joined Google in 2004. The Google leader assumed his current position in August and is primarily responsible for development, technology strategy and operations.
