We're All Getting 2 Long Weekends in April

If you're struggling to adjust to reality after the month-long celebration that is Tet, good news is on the horizon: another holiday season is just around the corner.

According to Zing, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs will grant three days of holiday for Hung Kings Day, which falls on Saturday, April 16 this year. The long weekend will last from Saturday, April 16 through Monday, April 18.

Shortly thereafter, Reunification Day and Labor Day also fall on a weekend this year, meaning workers in Vietnam will enjoy a four-day holiday from Saturday, April 30 through Tuesday, May 3.

This year, Vietnam will have a total of 22 days of public holiday.
