The Philippines’ oldest newspaper recently made what could be considered a provocative gesture towards China regarding its notorious “nine-dash-line.”

Literally translated as the "cow's tongue line," the invisible demarcation has been used by China to justify its extensive claims in the East Sea, a current sore spot for many SE Asian neighbors, especially Vietnam and the Philippines.
Apparently the editors over at The Manila Times aired their frustrations with the illustration above - “Our Version Of The ‘9 Dash Line’ In The West Philippine Sea Based On Public Opinion.”
