The 10 Tallest Buildings In Vietnam

After hearing that Hanoi is planning to build the world’s largest broadcast tower, it got us wondering – what are the tallest buildings in Vietnam?

Hanoi Landmark 72 – 336m

Opened in May 2012, Hanoi Landmark 72 consists two 50-story office buildings connected to a 72-story tower. It holds apartments, shops offices and hotels.

 

Hanoi Lotte Center – 267m

Like the Landmark 72, this skyscraper is a complex of shopping centers, offices, hotels and apartments across 65 stories and 5 underground floors.

 

HCMC Bitexco Financial Tower – 262.5m

The iconic 68-story tower’s design is based on Vietnam’s national flower, the lotus. Characterized by a glass-faced exterior and helicopter pad, Bitexco is currently the tallest building in HCMC. This may not be the case for long, however, as Vinhomes' Central Park project, planned to be finished in 2017 will include a 81-story tower.

 

HCMC Vietcombank Tower – 205m

Vietcombank’s new headquarters covers 55,000sqm and has incredible views of the Saigon River. It is expected to open within the first quarter of 2015.

 

Da Nang’s City Administration Center – 166.9m

This building is features a tower designed to represent a lighthouse atop ship-like pedestal. Harnessing modern building management technologies, Da Nang’s Administration Center is not only the city’s tallest building, but also its most eco-friendly.

 

Muong Thanh Nha Trang Center – 166m

Muong Thanh Nha Trang Center is the latest 5-star hotel of Muong Thanh Corp. and opened last December. The hotel offers stunning views of Nha Trang’s beaches.

 

Saigon Times Square – 163.5m

One of the most colorful buildings in HCMC at night, Saigon Times Square is located on some of the most expensive real estate in HCMC. The building houses high-end bars, restaurants, offices, apartments and a 5-star hotel.

 

Novotel Da Nang Premier Han River - 155.4m

Opened on Vietnam’s Reunification Day in 2013, this 37-story tower has become one of the city’s most iconic buildings.

 

Petroland Tower – 155m

Serving as not only the financial center of Phu My Hung Petro, but also leasing offices and apartments, the Petroland Tower stands tall above District 7’s new urban areas.

 

Nha Trang Best Western Premiere Havana – 150m

Located at 38 Tran Phu, this 41-story hotel/skyscraper sports restaurants, bars and an infinity swimming pool. It is managed by the American hotel management company, Best Western International Inc.
