From the organizer: Heart of Darkness is an AusCham Member – and we are invited to a special tasting session where food is paired with some of their delicious beers.

* AusCham Directors, Matthew Lourey and Brian O'Reilly have confirmed they will do the hard yards and join this event.

Event Outline

* Tasting of 4 small beers (Primeval Forest Pilsner, Sacred Fire Golden Ale, Kurtz Insane IPA, Excited Magpie Irish Stout and/or Eloquent Phantom Imperial Stout) paired with beer inspired canapés
* Tasting note sheets – attendees jot down notes on each beer to keep everyone engaged

* Introduction to HOD and format of the event
* Brewer presentations introducing/discussing each beer
* Q&A and/or have brewer/speakers walk around and chat with people answering questions
* HOD Chef presentation on pairing beers with food

Canapes

* Smoked whitefish cakes with a creamy dill and tarragon sauce. Paired with Golden
* Cognac braised pork served on top of a tangy red onion marmalade. Paired with IPA
* Beetroot and goat cheese crostini with Lavender Honey and Phu Quoc Pepper – Paired with Pilsner
* Mini Chocolate Lava Cakes – Paired with Irish Stout or Imperial Stout

Cost: 300.000 VND per person

Participants: 40 people max
