Back Events Near Me » Remarkable Vietnamese Women - International Women's Day talk @ The Old Compass Cafe

From the organizer: Join us for a special International Women's Day talk by author Irene Ohler.

Irene will be discussing her book - 'Ba Trieu’s 21st Century Daughters. Stories of Remarkable Vietnamese Women.’

The Book is a tribute to Vietnamese women. It tells the stories of 20 remarkable women - spanning three generations - from different locations in Vietnam and different professional backgrounds, some famous, some less well known.

It's the product of an unusual collaboration, between an outsider, Irene Ohler, looking in on Vietnam, and an insider, Do Thuy Duong, who represents the current generation of Vietnamese women leaders.

Irene Ohler, a leadership coach and founder of www.igobal-coaching.comhas been based in Vietnam since 2012, and has since focused on initiatives that inspire women to find their own paths, and to ignite their leadership.

She’s been collecting and sharing inspirational stories, both as the co-author of this Book and as the founding curator of the Women’s Story Telling Salon™ - www.womensstorytellingsalon.co

Join us for a special Saigon evening.
