From the organizer: Portraiture is a lot more than light setups and posing guides.

You will learn the essentials of portraiture, inexpensive lighting setups, and posing techniques. Most of all, you will learn how to direct people while still capturing natural moments getting the most out of your guests. By the end of the course you will also be able to edit and retouch your portraits with Adobe Photoshop.

It is ideal that you have full understanding of exposure before attending this course.

Session 1 – Theory: 7th May
Posing and lighting.

Session 2 – Practice: 14th May
Practice how to control the light and composition.

Session 3 – Practice: 21st May
Set up your own home studio. Direct and photograph a real model.

Session 4 – Editing Part 1: 28th May
Reviewing, analyzing, and organizing your images. Introduction to Adobe Photoshop. Bring your laptops, as we will edit things together!

Session 5 – Editing Part 2: 4th June
Finish editing your photographs with Adobe Photoshop. Bring your laptops, as we will edit things together!

Make sure you have installed Adobe Photoshop before attending this session. You can download it and use their free trial.

*Basic Photography Workshop or minimum knowledge of exposure is required.

She has been a professional photographer for over 10 years. As well as having a degree in photography she has been mentored by internationally renowned photographers and truly developed her technical and personal skills. 

For 6 years she sailed around the globe onboard a cruise ship going to amazing places while focusing on her favourite photography field: portraiture.
