GUERRILLA GIRL
21-year-old Isabel has left her family and her life in the city to join the Colombian Guerilla: FARC, the largest Marxist–Leninist revolutionary guerrilla organization in South America. In the training camp, deep into the jungle, she and the other new recruits must undergo hard physical training and military discipline. FARC was in 2001 declared a terrorist group but “Guerrilla Girl” is first and foremost a film about the people of the rebellion, and growing up in a country affected by civil war.
