RedDoor would like to bring to you a number of artworks in "Slaughterhouse series" of artist Nguyễn Văn Đủ, depicting the relationship between human and animal.
> Artwork slaughterhouse #13 and #14, cow blood on paper, had featured in “Máu, Mồ hôi, Nước mắt” (blood, sweat, tear) exhibition, Start art fair - Start project - Vietnam Eye at Saatchi Gallery, London, United Kingdom in 2017.
> Slaughterhouse #16 is the first experimental in large size using cow blood from slaughterhouse at Trãng Bom - Đồng Nai, recapping the slaughtering scene which happens everyday at Trảng Bom slaughterhouse; this artwork had appeared in the group exhibition “When the substance vs. the dream; the body flesh vs. the immaculateness; The ideal vs. the materiality- The new possibilities of Painting”
> Slaughterhouse #15, oil on canvas, depicts a slaughtering scene in a slaughterhouse at Bà Rịa- Vũng Tàu. This artwork appeared in “Local- everywhere” exhibition at Địa Project Galleria, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
> Slaughterhouse #08, #10, sketches with cow blood material on paper and slaughterhouse # 12", sketch with watercolor were shown in the "Body Bouquet" exhibition at Welch Galleria , Atlanta, USA.
And the rest of artworks are in house experiments which have not been shown yet; Cow blood # 01, # 03, # 04, # 05, # 06 are works in which tested cow blood on various materials like silk, canvas, paper mounted on canvas.
