This off-beat journey takes you by waterbus, ferry and bicycle to a rarely visited area on the edge of town. Enjoy a leisurely ride on the city’s waterbus to the scenic Thanh Da Peninsula. Watch the bustling city streets fade into more peaceful, rural scenes. Then cross the river by local ferry and then hop on a bike to explore the beautiful landscape on two wheels.
Cycle through residential streets lined with houses and buildings from yesteryear. Stop to chat with a town elder who lives here with three generations of his family and listen to their stories of the past and present. Visit the temple to learn about how the locals worshipped the protector of this peninsula and pedal past ponds and fields for gorgeous views of Landmark 81. Stop for a refreshment and pick up some snacks at the local market before heading back by waterbus.

The tour takes around 6.5 hours and we will be back at the Saigon Waterbus Station at around 14:30 pm.
