From the organizer: Terror in a Toga!
60 guests, 1 murderer. It's down to you to decide who dunnit.
Firstly, what is a murder mystery?
A party where a fictional murder takes place and it's your job to find the murderer by gathering evidence. This is done from mingling with other guests and using bribes/blackmail with your fake money. Before the party, everybody is given a character card with tips on how to portray that character and you will receive an envelope on arrival containing a name tag and a set of objectives to complete.
A fictional murder will occur during the night and everybody becomes a suspects. You will then receive a second envelope with information you know, tasks to complete and a stack of money. With the money, it's your job to bribe and blackmail other guests for information that will help you guest the murderer. As you are also a suspect, it's also your job to prove your innocences. This is where the fun begins...
Prizes will be awarded on the night for
- Best Detective (for guessing the murder)
- Best Dressed
- Best Performance
- Most money on the night
