One of Bangkok’s major movers in the underground dance music scene, MASA NIWAYAMA is hitting The Observatory’s new venue for the first time to show us exactly why he is known from Thailand to the very northern reaches of Japan as a DJ force to be reckoned with.

Closely associated with BKK’s eclectic powerhouse Zudrangma Records and the man behind the Giant Swing parties of the same city, MASA has been invited to play in some of the most respected underground clubs in Japan, including the illustrious ‘Precious Hall’ of Sapporo - notorious for its uncompromising, high-cuff programming, unrivaled sound system, and deeply nuanced party-goers. 

MASA NIWAYAMA brings a unique, specialized and particular approach tohis sets, drawing on a vast collection of rare house and eclectic gems to produce a flow of sound that is as diverse and moving as an urban rainforest.
