From the organizer: The excitement that The Globe Theatre from London is coming to Vietnam could not be greater! In celebration of the 450th anniversary of the birth of Shakespeare, The Globe is embarking on a world tour of 205 countries. This tour celebrates the language and brilliance that is Shakespeare. People worldwide can communicate their appreciation and understanding through all forms of communication mediums. No one wants to miss out on such an opportunity to be a part of this once in a lifetime journey.
The play itself is the world famous Hamlet, with a cast of twelve actors, who’ve been hailed as ‘young, un-jaded and openhearted’ by the Daily Telegraph. This is a play that can boast its flexibility and adaptability in production and has previously been performed everywhere from the Royal Opera Houses to open castle grounds.
