From the organizer: THINK WHISKEY IS A MAN’S DRINK? THAT’S JUST OLD FASHIONED.
Women of Saigon has partnered up with Jameson to bring you our first “Women & Whiskey” workshop for 2016.
For many, whiskey is just as much as an adventure as it is a drink. This workshop will cover the history of Jameson whiskey, followed by a tasting between; Jameson Original, American Whiskey, and Scotch Whiskey. We’ll finish by exploring the different pairing styles with bacon, chocolate and one you’d never have guessed to try, we’ll keep the last one a surprise.
The Jameson distillery was established by John Jameson in Dublin in 1780. Within 30 years it became the most successful distillery in Ireland and remands so to this day. Today, Jameson is the number one Irish whiskey in the world, selling 5.1 million cases last year alone. It is triple distilled, making it exceptionally smooth and easy to drink.
