Save The Observatory! @ The Observatory

Dear guests, supporters, dancers, occasional passers-by and friends from near and far. As you have probably heard or realized by now, the last six weeks have not been easy for us. Due to a range of different factors, we’ve had no choice but to close early on most of our nights.

First of all, we’d like to apologize to anyone and everyone who may have arrived at a time when you expected us to be open, and we were closed. We also apologize to people who had to unexpectedly stop dancing early because of our new time limits. It's been very painful and frustrating for us to stop parties early, but it has been our only choice given the circumstances.

We would also like to extend our deep and sincere thanks to everyone who has been patient with us, got down to our day time parties and kept the spirit alive. And also, to our friends and allies in the HCMC dance world that have helped us by letting us use their venues when we needed it. We would not be here without you.

Due to our identity as a late night dance venue, this situation has hit us quite hard.

The good news is that there is light at the end of the tunnel. We are fully confident that with time, we will be able to get back to normal. But at this moment, we need a big, powerful showing of our beloved Saigon dance community, which we have witnessed evolve over the last 3 years into something special and intrinsic to this city.

This party is going to involve practically all of the local-based DJs that we have invited to play at The Obs over the last years, all generously playing for free in order to help us get back on our feet and dance into the future. We hope you can join us and turn this into something massive and beautiful that we can remember, laugh about and be proud of in the years that follow this unique time of our lives.

So, please save the date, get down and dance dance dance.

Starts at 6PM - 150K
