[Infographic] The Growth of Vietnam’s Online Advertising Market

This fantastic infographic shows the growth of Vietnam’s online advertising market. Created by Itracker.vn, a digital marketing tracking service, it reveals the top sectors and websites where online advertisers are spending their money.

Tech experts, TechinAsia, dissected the data and came up with some interesting stats:

  • The top three sectors were telecommunications, automotive transport, and information media. Telecoms companies spent over $1.3 million on online ads. No doubt, this is supported by the intense spending from mobile companies like Mobifone.
  • Mobifone took the top spot for top advertiser, far ahead of runner-up Nokia. Mobifone spent about $465,000 on online advertising.
  • VNExpress, one of Vietnam’s top news sites, took the top spot for the biggest destination of ad traffic. VNexpress raked in over $3.1 million in Q3 alone.
