Cietisoo Nguyen is a visual artist from Vietnam using photography and digital technology to construct images that reflect his consciousness of both the external and internal world.

With both parents whom are well-respected scientists, Cietisoo Nguyen grew up questioning his surroundings through the scope of science. His search for explanation and meaning in combination with Eastern Spiritual practices creates many layers of understanding beyond the surface of the everyday. At young age, Cietisoo Nguyen was introduced to photography and soon decided to pursue it as a medium to investigate his interest in finding the unseen and explore his own self, the being that to him is the biggest mystery, the ever ending quest that assigned to him. Overtime he develops his practice to straddle the fine line between digital art and photography, creating a realm within his work where he examines human nature with his own interpretation; from here he invites the viewer to reconceive their familiarities.
