The festive season began at one of Saigon’s leading event centers on November 14 with a lighting ceremony to unveil Christmas Snow Town alongside holiday activities that will run from now until December 31, 2024. Spanning over 600 meters on the GEM Center rooftop, Christmas Snow Town captures the specific charm of Europe in winter. Wooden cottages glow under twinkling lights, snow-dusted pine trees sparkle, and cozy streets embrace the warm atmosphere. The event began with timeless Holiday songs including 'Hallelujah' and 'Joy To The World' that provided the perfect background for guests to light the tree, ring the Christmas bell, and watch the first snowfall before enjoying a lavish meal inspired by the occasion.
The opening event attracted many fashionable guests who wanted to be the first to see it and couples, families and young people across the city will continue to visit in the coming weeks to take photos and savor the wintery vibes that are so difficult to find outside of Europe. In addition to fantastic scenery, visitors will be able to enjoy a wide array of holiday-themed culinary delights, including roasted turkey, beef stew, yule logs, candy canes, gingerbread cookies, toasted marshmallows, and chocolate fondue towers. A generous selection of premium beverages underscores the sanctity of the event.
Christmas Snow Town is more than great food and photo opportunities, though. A variety of events are scheduled for the full 47 days including a "Dear Santa" magic mailbox and surprise gifts along with festive decorations for sale. The real highlight of any visit will surely be the Snow Show. Four times a day, snow will drift down along with vibrant holiday music that will allow guests to feel as if they are living in a Hallmark Christmas movie.
