ABOUT DECISION LAB

Decision Lab was founded in 2009 by Aske Østergård and Thue Quist Thomasen in Hong Kong and Vietnam in partnership with the market research arm of Nordic consultancy Capacent, which later changed its name to Epinion.

From the beginning, their purpose has been to support clients in making better decisions by applying cutting edge research technology combined with competent upmarket consultancy. Their pioneering approach was recognisable from the get-go and we were the first market research company in Vietnam to abandon paper-based interviews, and introduce online research. Today they are operating with a focus in digital media and advertising, one of the first to bridge the gap between media spending and brand effectiveness.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Aske Østergård - Co-founder and CEO
Aske has more than 11 years of international experience in marketing research and consulting. He has spent the majority of his career in Asia consulting multinational as well as local marketers. Prior to founding Decision Lab, he built up and led Epinion, from a bold idea into a leading and ground-breaking market research company. Since 2014, he has devoted most of his time to research efficiency and effectiveness of digital advertising in Vietnam.

Le Hoai Tram - Manager
Tram holds a Master's Degree in Digital Marketing from University of Southampton, UK. She has devoted her time to digital advertising research, helping marketers to understand consumers' behaviours in online environment and their reaction towards digital advertising.
Tram came back to the industry with a mission of bringing data and analytics closer to decision making. She joined Decision Lab in 2016 and soon after that progressed to Senior Consultant, leading the research development in the area of digital media. She was the core member designing the solution for real-time digital campaign tracking.
