Dear those who adore artist Nguyen Trung, VY Gallery is honored to introduce the exhibition for the artbook “Nguyen Trung Works”.

The artbook is published by Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House with limited edition, only 1000 copies internationally. Currently, in Ho Chi Minh City there are only 80 books, distributed and exhibited at VY Gallery.

Nguyen Trung Works is the first and probably most comprehensive artbook to ever introduce in China about artist Nguyen Trung.

This book is the work of 5 years of research and travel over Vietnam, Myanmar, China, France, and America. It is a masterpiece that has gathered the essence of Nguyen Trung’s art world. The book collected 115 works that Nguyen Trung created from 1970 to 2018 (over half a century), along with stories about the artist from experts and collectors. In the last pages, there are also 15 interview questions about his life, profession, and views since he began his career in art (a 60 years path of art).

“Nguyen Trung Works” is published on the occasion of Nguyen Trung’s 80th birthday. The launching event is on 26/12/2020 by Shanghai Pujiang Southeast Asia Culture and Art Exchange Center, Huangpu District Cultural Center, Shanghai Dayin Book Co., Ltd.
