Learn about Abstract Arts with Artist Mike Kilgore by studying the works of famous Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky then create your own abstract painting. The workshop is suitable for both kids and adults.

During this workshop, participants will learn to understand abstract art by studing the artwork and ideas of famed Russian artist, Wassily Kandinsky and child prodigy, Aelita Andre, then use what they learned to talk about and understand my abstract paintings which will be on display in the studio through the closing recption on June 30th.

Finally, participants will create their own abstract paintings to be included in a collaborative artwork inspired by Kandinsky's famous piece, "Squares With Concentric Circles" and displayed at the closing reception of my studio exhibition from 6 - 8 PM on Sunday, June 30th for all of their families and friends to come and see.

Participants may take home their arwork after the closing reception ends on Sunday, June 30th at 8 PM.
