Sacred Sounds Presents: Bawrut @ BirdCage

    AAA
Disco never died, it went underground, gave birth, and named it house. Combined with the DNA of techno and acid, we can begin to conceptualise this artist.

Ransom Note Records hail Bawrut as a hero, a brother and a friend - he was the first to feature on the label and has gone on to roaring success with his music championed by everyone from Avalon Emerson to Skream, Andrew Weatherall to Patrick Topping, Optimo to Roman Flugel and beyond. His sound spans a spectrum of genres and sits firmly atop the niche - universally danceable and endlessly fun. His well known tunes include Ciquita and 1-2-3-4.

With Bawrut you can know what to expect - fun, lively, unique and ravey. Describing his sound in the loose abstract as between “sloppy house” and punk, often an acidic meze. Check out his Boiler Room for final confirmation you will be front row at Birdcage on the 21st of November for this world class celebration:

Sacred Sounds is the lovechild of Defused Mood and Lotus Eaters. Sister crews of the dark arts of event curation, promotion and most importantly purveyors of the sickest sounds this side of Babylon. Joining forces to create themed experiences with next level DJs and always sacred spaces for the beloved. The journey sparked on a rain kissed Sapa mountain but ignites with internationally renowned and celebrated DJ and producer, Bawrut.
