Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam — As Rotary Club Saigon International (RCSI) begins the 2026–2027 Rotary year, the club is reaffirming its commitment to creating sustainable impact through initiatives focused on healthcare, education, women, and children.
Founded in 2021, RCSI has grown into an international network of business leaders, professionals, and community advocates united by Rotary’s motto, 'Service Above Self.' Over the past five years, the club has worked alongside local and international partners to deliver projects that address real community needs while building long-term partnerships for change.
For the 2026–2027 Rotary year, Hòa Nguyễn assumes the role of Club President, leading the club under the theme 'Create Lasting Impact.' Rather than emphasizing the number of projects delivered, the new leadership team aims to strengthen governance, expand strategic partnerships, and develop sustainable initiatives that continue to benefit communities well beyond a single Rotary year.
Healthcare will remain one of the club’s highest priorities. RCSI will continue expanding its 'From Hearts to Hearts' initiative, supporting life-saving heart surgeries for children with congenital heart disease in partnership with the VinaCapital Foundation and Rotary clubs around the world through Rotary Foundation Global Grants.
The club will also continue investing in women’s health, building on previous initiatives that have provided breast cancer screening and awareness programs for underserved communities, while exploring new partnerships to improve access to preventive healthcare.
Education and youth development will form another key pillar of the year’s strategy. Through scholarships, leadership development, and international collaboration, RCSI aims to equip young people with greater opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to their communities.
“Rotary is built on friendship, but friendship is only the beginning,” said Hòa Nguyễn. “When people who share the same values come together with trust and purpose, they can create meaningful and lasting change. Our goal this year is not simply to do more projects, but to build stronger partnerships and create sustainable impact for the communities we serve.”
As RCSI enters its sixth year, the club hopes to strengthen collaboration with businesses, nonprofit organizations, healthcare institutions, universities, and community partners who share the belief that lasting impact is achieved through collective action.
