In celebration of International Coffee Day, Le Méridien Saigon invites coffee lovers to discover new ways of experiencing a familiar ritual through a month-long journey of flavours, craftsmanship and creative expression.

Three exclusive creations for “Coffee Omakase” in October

For Le Méridien, coffee has long been part of the brand’s culture – not simply as a familiar beverage, but as a way to bring people together, spark conversations, and enjoy a destination through sensory experiences.

Coffee is an integral part of Le Méridien’s brand culture

This October, in celebration of International Coffee Day, Le Méridien Saigon brings this spirit to life with “Coffee Omakase” – a limited-time series that takes a fresh look at Vietnamese coffee through three distinct experiences, from curated tasting and creative cocktails to a menu of new expressions served throughout the hotel.

A familiar ritual, reimagined

Inspired by the spirit of Omakase – where the craftsperson is entrusted to guide guests through a thoughtfully curated experience – the “Coffee Omakase Experience” at Le Méridien Saigon offers a more immersive way to enjoy coffee.

Barista Kiến Bảo engages with guests

Rather than choosing simply from a menu, guests are invited to follow a journey shaped around coffee and canapé, where each moment unfolds through carefully selected ingredients, brewing techniques and layers of flavour. The result is an experience that allows the character of coffee to reveal itself gradually, one cup and one discovery at a time.

The setting for the “Coffee Omakase Experience”

Taking place at 9:00 AM every Friday at BARSON, the “Coffee Omakase Experience” is guided by Barista Kiến Bảo alongside guest Barista Bella Thư Phạm, offering a slower moment in the day to pause, taste and discover. Different brewing methods and ingredients come together to reveal new expressions of coffee, while the creativity and intuition of the barista shape the journey from beginning to end – from the selection of ingredients to the balance of flavours in every cup.

Meanwhile, the “Coffee Cocktail Workshop”, held at 6:00 PM every Friday at BARSON, takes coffee beyond its familiar boundaries and into the world of cocktail craftsmanship. Through a hands-on session led by Barista Julie Minh Châu, guests can discover how coffee interacts with other ingredients to create balanced, layered and distinctive drinks, while adding their own personal touch along the way.

Five ways to tell the story of coffee

Complementing these two interactive experiences, Le Méridien Saigon introduces a “Specialty Coffee Collection” of five distinctive creations, with coffee taking center stage.

Each drink offers a different interpretation of coffee – from its more familiar aromatic notes to unexpected pairings with other ingredients. Available exclusively throughout October at BARSON, Latest Recipe Saigon and Le Méridien Saigon Club Lounge, the collection invites both hotel guests and diners to discover Le Méridien’s coffee culture in their own way.

Two creations that bring coffee together with the art of cocktail-making

From a barista-led journey, an interactive workshop to a collection of specialty creations available throughout the day, “Coffee Omakase” is an invitation to approach coffee with a little more curiosity.

Continuing Le Méridien’s coffee culture

At Le Méridien, coffee has always been part of the brand’s cultural DNA – connected to moments of gathering, creativity and discovery of local culture. At Le Méridien Saigon, this spirit continues through a distinctly Saigon-inspired expression: familiar yet full of character, with room for curiosity and new discoveries.

This October, “Coffee Omakase” invites guests to step away from their usual coffee ritual and see a cup of coffee from multiple perspectives – where flavour becomes a story, technique becomes an art, and a simple moment of enjoyment can unfold into an inspiring journey of discovery.
