Introducing a much-loved characteristic of the world’s most famous beaches to Phu Quoc, Sol Beach House Phu Quoc introduces OLA Beach Club. Hip and trendy with a relaxed, carefree vibe, the beach club sets the scene for late afternoons and evenings spent poolside on the beach with a cocktail in hand and toe-tapping tunes from the resident DJ or Cuban Band.
The first of its kind on the island, OLA Beach Club is a restaurant, bar and beach lounge set to an chilled house, indie and trance soundtrack. Open from 4pm until midnight, OLA Beach Club has a variety of dining options, from informal bites to relaxed fine-dining across two floors.
The diverse menu offers up a variety of Mediterranean-style seafood and fare, with fresh grilled meats, flavourful paellas and pastas, as well as delicious and inspired sweets. The chef recommends the eclectic seafood platter with catch of the day, rock lobster, prawns and squid for a true taste of Phu Quoc’s freshest fare. In addition to fanciful cocktails, the menu offers up healthy fruit juices and drinks to keep you cool and your thirst quenched.
Up to 74 guests can enjoy poolside seating, while the rooftop terrace, generally reserved for special events or VIP, can accommodate up to 85 guests. Both areas offer stunning views of the sea, perfect for sunset sessions and grooving or late night cocktails.
Resident Chef Massimiliano ‘Massi’ Pauletto says, “OLA Beach Club is fine dining without complication or etiquette. Come as you are, in flip flops and a bikini or dressed to impress.”
The beach club sits at the back of Sol Beach House Phu Quoc, managed by Melia Hotels International, as the third of the resort’s three restaurants, including all day dining outlet The Kitchen and street food inspired outlet The Shack.
Sol Beach House Phu Quoc celebrates six months of operation on one of Vietnam’s most beautiful southern islands and maintains its ‘barefoot at its finest’ motto with this launch.
Ideal for laid-back couples, single travellers, families, groups of friends, young-at-heart seniors and even guests with small pets, the Sol Beach House Phu Quoc accommodates up to 284 keys. In addition to delicious dining options, guests can enjoy the resort’s free-form infinity swimming pool overlooking the sea, a fully-equipped gym, an in-house yoga instructor, comfortable hammocks and Bali beds, a library with communal table, kids’ club and free Wi-Fi throughout the property.
