Aurora International Preschool of the Arts is a school inspired by Reggio Emilia Approach. We support the self-discovery, imagination, creativity, and maximize all valuable opportunities for life-long learning for children.
Understanding that the curiosity makes children eager to learn, Aurora always encourage children to see in reality how amazing it is to reuse things in many creative ways and for different purposes. Through the activities children will find it interesting and important to recycle, as a result they are encouraged to value themselves as unique individuals who are contributing members of not only in class but also the community.
We at Aurora provide children with opportunities to become environmentally responsible by practicing the three R’s: REDUCE, REUSE & RECYCLE because “a sustainable tomorrow begins with the actions of children today”.
Aurora’s children learn and implement the three R’s in everyday activities and in imaginative ways by:
- Reducing waste and consumption
- Reusing old items
- Recycling appropriate materials.
Reduce, Reuse & Recycle also adopts an ethical message that waste materials, an implying of the “imperfect”, can turn to be usable resources thanks to human’s smart idea and responsibility to protect environment.
