From the organizer: Kidane lives his quiet cattle herder life outside the ancient Malian city of Timbuktu until one day, an accident following the death of his dear cow ‘GPS’ confronts him to the extremist Islamists who occupy the city and their laws.
We then discover a rich and beautiful town being destroyed by puritanism, citizens being forced into new habits and living under fear. No more laughters, no more singings, no more cigarettes or soccer games…
