Development worker and writer Dana McNairn has a new book out.

Originally written for her sister, Vietnam Salmagundi is a collection of sketches chronicling her early observations of a rapidly changing country. Written in English and translated into Vietnamese, these vignettes are meant to resonate with the men and women of Vietnam—foreigner or national.
