From the organizer: Canh kiểm is a typical vegetarian coconut soup (with pumpkin, taro, sweet potato, mushroom, coconut milk and many other yummy ingredients) from Mekong Delta of Vietnam.

'Lua's Kitchen -Vietnamese cooking class' was founded by Lua Le who is passionate about cooking (and eating) healthy food. She is very proud of her home country's cuisine and first sought to introduce her own version of Vietnamese cuisine to the world when she travelled to Europe where she offered locals Vietnamese home cooking classes. She specializes in authentic and healthy home-style dishes, making use of universal ingredients available the world over. She focuses on a menu that requires no special tools to prepare or cook ensuring that her guests have no problem repeating the cooking process in their own kitchens. She uses high quality ingredients, exclusive of MSG and she can tailor traditional menus to vegetarian/vegan palates, gluten-free, lactose-intolerant or special diets etc. She also enjoys sharing insights into Vietnamese culture and life with her many guests.
