From the organizer: Thelma is hired by a local Foster care facility to take care of abandoned kids until they are adopted.

She lives with her husband Dado and two sons Gerald and Yuri in one of the many slums of Manila. 
One day, her latest foster child, 3-year old John-John, is to join his adoptive American parents. As Thelma goes through the day, fulfilling her duties for the last time, every little ordinary moment becomes increasingly precious.Over the course of the day, we get closer to the attachment Thelma developed for John-John.
